City Cemetery Tour

City Cemetery is a rich source of social, political and industrial history of Belfast.

It is located at the heart of west belfast and as well as containing the graves of many famous belfast citizens it holds a large amount of the British commonwealth war graves, and graves of other important personalities such as Vere Foster educationalist and philantropist, Tom Gallagher famous founder of the tobacco factory, Tom Harland of the famous Harland and Wolff shipbuilders of the Titanic, and more recently Sam Thompson playwright.

Among the highlights of this tour is also the unique hidden underground wall separating Catholics from Protestants.
