A Unique Walking Tour Delivered by former political prisoners who share their personal experiences of the British/Irish Conflict.

These guides have an in depth knowledge of this conflict and many of them have spent long terms of imprisonment as a result of this centuries old conflict.

When the British Government deployed heavily armed troops onto the streets of Belfast and Derry in August 1969, at the behest of the then unionist Government, few people could have imagined the turmoil that would follow this decision and the devastating impact that it would have on the lives of the people of Ireland and indeed on other people around the world.

Your Coiste Irish Political Tour Guides will be former political prisoners from the republican community, who will weave their personal account of the British/Irish conflict into the wider history of this centuries old conflict. We welcome everyone onto our tours and we invite all our visitors to partake in a complimentary glass of "The Black stuff" (Guinness) at the end of our daily walking tour.
